Dear Barb,

I received a copy of your writing "Wailing Women" on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005. I was interested in reading it, so I promptly printed it. I have also scanned it and have printed it for my Friends who "walk in the prophetic" and also hear/see things to come...

I especially wanted to email you because not only does what you write bear witness to what I feel in my spirit, but also I was raised on Kodiak Island during the early '50's and left there the summer of '61. My family heard about the Tidal Wave/earthquake that occurred on Good Friday '62. Had we not left when we did, we, too, would have experienced it...It's interesting that your step father described it as sounding like moaning and dying and also women screaming...I have been back to Kodiak since [the first time was in the summer '95 to my 30 year class reunion and then, again in August 2002] Alaska is "in my blood" and I always want to STAY when I get there, but then, I know I have to leave...for many different reasons...

Although, I have not had visions such as you and my friends have had, I have such a sadness in my heart causing me to cry and pray in earnest for our country and those who are in such DARKNESS...I look around me and see so many of our Christian symbols and rights being taken away...Things our country's forefathers fought so hard to attain. I see the horrible TV shows which portray SEX so flippantly and finding nothing wrong with it...They are so blinded by the god of this world; they don't even realize what they are doing!!! I see beautiful young girls using sexually explicit songs and actions to make the almighty dollar thinking there is nothing wrong with it...Oh, how our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, must be weeping as well over our nation which was once, indeed, a "nation under God."

I want you to know that I am one of the wailing women...I cry so much over our beautiful country and just pray that the CHURCH will REPENT of being NO DIFFERENT than the world...with divorce, problems with pornography, etc, just as high or higher in the church as in the world...I PRAY that God will have MERCY on us!!! Our country has fallen so far from where we once were!

God bless you, My Sister in the Lord!! KEEP doing what you're doing and listening to God voice and stepping out in obedience and sharing what He shows you as He prompts you..
