Concerning a tsunami/earthquake on the west coast....I thought
the following might be of interest to you. Dec. 8, 2000, I was
at a conference waiting for a session to begin when I heard the
Holy Spirit say," Highway 101". I understood at that time this
to be a call to a "higher" way in Him. I then read Ps. 101 which
confirmed this call. Once home I re-read Bob Jones Shepherd's
Rod and in the last paragraph he spoke of the importance of this
psalm. I was then stirred to look at hwy. 101 on a map; nothing
stood out to me. That night I tossed and turned in my sleep as
if wrestling with something. I had a dream or vision of a
shepherds rod imprinted on a map. I got up to look at the map
again and as I stood up I clearly heard the Holy Spirit say,
"The Lord has raised a standard, His rod is in the land". This
time when I looked at the map it was obvious--Highway 101 is in
the shape of a shepherds rod. Highway 101 begins around Olympia
then heads north along Puget Sound and west along the straight
of Juan de Fuca, then south along the coasts of Washington,
Oregon and California. The history of 101 begins hundreds of
years ago as it closely follows the route of Spanish explorer
Juan Gaspa de Portola (1769). Eventually this hwy. linked the 21
missions of southern California and was called El Camino Real,
the Kings Highway. I thought it was interesting that King David
was the author of ps. 101. Many roads joined together and were
commissioned in 1926 as one of the original U.S. highways. U.S.
101 parallels U.S. 1 of the east coast. The location of 101 has
greatly contributed to national, regional and local historic
events... On the morning of Feb 28, 2001, I was standing in my
kitchen, I had been thinking of ps. 101 when I felt what i
thought was a passing train. I soon knew we were having a
earthquake. When I learned that the epicenter was near Olympia,
I "knew" in my spirit that hwy. 101 had been affected. On March
1 I read the headline "Quake: U.S. Highway 101 buckles". The
depth of the quake was 33 miles--the age of Jesus as He
displayed the depth of His love for us on a cross. I knew this
quake was a wake-up call. I can't shake the thought that hwy.
101 is a gateway of some kind to our nation and the world. I
also believe that ps. 101 is the standard or banner the Lord has
raised for our nation. ( Read the amplified version of 101 if
you can, read also Is.59:19). I've given you a lot to chew on
for now, but also have some other thoughts, impressions to share
on this.
Blessings to you,
